This is a synoptic observation station operated by employees of the Nature and Parks Authority next to the entrance gate to the Gamla Nature Reserve. The station was established in 1993. Just recently (2007), the station was computerized and provides every 10 minutes. The website displays data for daily rainfall. The seasonal average for the period 1961-1990 was reconstructed based on other stations in the area.
