Comments:

1. "Same period normal" refers to the normal accumulation from the beginning of the rainfall season up until the indicated date.

The "Percent of same period normal" is the fraction of the period accumulation compared with same period normal.

2. For a few stations in arid areas the percent of same period normals are not displayed due the large fluctations of the rainfall from year to year. These stations include Elat, Paran and En Gedi.

3. Please note!! On weekends and holidays only partial and preliminary data displayed. The term "weekend" refers to Thursday and Friday rainfall accumulations since the obseravtions are made on Friday and Saturday mornings , respectively. The weekend rainfalls from these stations, including: Haifa, Sede Eliyyahu, En Hahoresh and Tel Aviv (Qiryat Shaul), can be seen after Sunday update.
